Summer school of Montenegrin Language
The Faculty of Montenegrin Language and Literature (FCJK) is organizing the Summer School of Montenegrin Language and Culture from 15 to 29 July 2026.
The programme is designed for participants who wish to improve their knowledge of the Montenegrin language and become acquainted with the cultural and historical heritage of Montenegro. Instruction is aligned with the A2 level and includes an intensive language course, as well as classes in Montenegrin culture and history.
Programme
The Summer School includes:
- instruction in the Montenegrin language (A2 level),
- classes in Montenegrin culture and history,
- course materials,
- one organized educational excursion.
Course Organization
Classes are held at the Faculty of Montenegrin Language and Literature in Cetinje (Baja Pivljanina 134). Teaching takes place on weekdays in the morning hours, while one day per week is reserved for fieldwork and visits to cultural and historical landmarks.
Participants have free weekends.
Accommodation and Fees
The tuition fee for the Summer School is €840 and covers exclusively:
- instruction
- course materials,
- one organized excursion
Accommodation is not provided and is not included in the programme fee.
Admission and Participation
- Applications must be submitted no later than 20 June 2026.
- After applying, candidates will receive confirmation of receipt and further instructions.
- Upon acceptance, a non-refundable deposit of €100 is required.
- An application is considered valid and a place in the programme secured once proof of payment of the deposit has been sent to the School’s email address following confirmation of acceptance.
Certificate
Upon completion of the programme, participants receive a Certificate of Attendance for the Summer School of Montenegrin Language and Culture.
